How to Show Color on Title Bars on Windows 11 or 10?

How to Add Color to Title Bars in Windows 10 and 11.

Windows 11/10 has ushered in a plethora of innovative features that aim to enhance the user experience and offer a greater degree of customization. At the forefront of these features is the ability to personalize the Windows environment with a colored title bar. At the launch of Windows 11/10, users found that they couldn’t colorize the title bar of a window. Despite options to either “Automatically choose an accent color from my background” or select a specific color, the title bar invariably remained white with a black title. Previously, users had the “Show color on Start, Taskbar, and Action Center” option. But, in a recent update, Microsoft expanded this customization option to include the title bar as well, renaming it to “Show color on Start, taskbar, action center, and title bar”. Globally, a majority of users are content with the default settings of the OS. However, there exists a niche group of enthusiasts who enjoy tailoring every nuance of the system to their liking. For these aficionados and for those who are just curious, it’s worth noting that Windows 11, by default, does not highlight the accent color in title bars and window borders. While many may prefer the sleek black-and-white title bars, others seek a splash of color to add personality to their digital workspace. In this risewindows guide, we’ll delve into the steps needed to display color on title bars in Windows 11 or 10.
